The Service department is responsible for service and maintenance of the wind farms within Denmark and Norway. The department has an open and informal culture, where team work and good communication is the key to our success. You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting industry and in a team of highly motivated employees.

We are currently looking for 4 skilled technicians to Hamnefjell in Norway. You will be required to develop a detailed knowledge of our wind turbines to enable you to perform daily maintenance and other field service related tasks. Working to the highest safety and environmental standards whilst ensuring that service targets are met, you will be part of a team of technicians working at site. Other duties will be to carry out periodic service inspections in accordance with Vestas specifications together with component replacement (both electrical and mechanical) and troubleshooting on the systems. For the right candidate, there will also be minor fiber tasks, including photographing of wings and some fiber repairs.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a mechanical, electrical and/or electronics background and will possess a full, clean driving licence. You will have a formal qualification in one or both of the above and/or have served an apprenticeship.

  • IT experience.
  • Valid driver license.
  • Fluency in English both orally and written.
  • Relevant technical training, preferably electrical or mechanical.
  • Excellent problem solving and fault finding skills.

Additional information
The initial training period for this role will require travel to Denmark and overnight stays which may be for more weeks at a time. You will be based on our site Hamnefjellet. You will be working a xx days on, xx days off rotation. The final days of rotation will be decided at later point. You may also be asked to support other regions if required by the business.
