  • Applies knowledge of general engineering principles, theories and concepts to support design of biopharmaceutical industrial facilities, while learning industry practices and standards
  • Works in a team environment to meet project goals, under direct supervision; work is reviewed for accuracy and effectiveness
  • Participates in the design of a process unit operation, including establishing process design basis, development of options, and optimization of selected design.
  • Calculates and organizes data for process flow sheets, including instrumentation and control considerations
  • Develops process flow diagrams to define heat and material balance
  • Assists in development of process specifications for custom designed equipment packages, such as bioreactors, separations and drying equipment, aseptic filling, secondary packaging, and utility systems.

  • Must have completed at least 2 years of college in accredited chemical or mechanical engineering program
  • Minimum 3.0+ GPA
  • No relocation or temporary living assistance is being offered
  • This opportunity is anticipated to run from January 2017 until the end of the current school semester.
