Collection System Modeling and Assessment Engineer - Cleveland, OH

The challenge?  Lead project tasks in the areas of master planning, conveyance design, hydraulic modeling, and condition assessment. The Cleveland office is a hub for CH2M's wastewater modeling and conveyance design. As part of the team in Cleveland you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of public and private sector clients in the Northeastern Ohio area, across the country, and globally.
Our Collection System Modeling and Assessment Engineers:

•    Guide, develop, and lead master plan and conveyance teams
•    Effectively communicate with clients to develop collaborative solutions
•    Discuss project results and recommendations with client to facilitate informed decision-making
•    Identify and evaluate the hydraulic and engineering constraints and feasibility of solutions
•    Write, review, and provide clear, concise input to investigation or solutions reports
•    Manage packages of work to time and budget
•    Work on multi-disciplinary teams with other Ohio and global staff

The minimum qualifications for this position are:
•    Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or other applied subjects
•    Experience in water and wastewater master planning and hydraulic modeling
•    5 years of project or task management experience
•    8 years of total professional experience

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
•    Master's Degree in civil engineering with a concentration in water resources or other applied subjects
•    Demonstrated standard application of best practices for modeling
•    Experience utilizing wastewater hydraulic modeling packages such as InfoWorks CS/ICM and InfoSWMM
•    Experience in conveyance design and condition assessment
•    Experience in the Ohio water and wastewater industry
•    Sound engineering and hydraulic aptitude and ability
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•    Good communication skills and willing to work as part of a team
