Job Description
Work with the transducer process engineering group on ultrasound design innovation projects to rapidly prototype and characterize new transducer materials and processes.  The position will report to the Transducer Process Engineering Manager.

- Own and lead process characterization project(s) under the guidance of senior engineers and deliver quality work according to a schedule.  
- Perform characterization testing on materials used in ultrasound devices
- Effectively communicate with their mentor and Siemens Ultrasound Division regarding any issues encountered and successes achieved.
- Prepare and conduct design reviews throughout the project. Demo your work at the end of internship period.   

- Concentration in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Material Engineering; Junior or Senior level undergraduate students preferred
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Six Sigma, DFSS, DFM , DOE, Gauge R+R, Minitab experience a plus
