The IT Service Management Leader - ITO will be a member of the PS HQ ITO Operations team supporting the ITO Commercial application platforms. The position is responsible for operation excellence & critical business processes. Application support will be specific to ITO apps, and applications moving onto the Predix 2.0 environment. (Websilion, MYAE, Oracle CPQ .)

Essential Responsibilities

The IT Service Management Leader - ITO will:

  • Participate in key ITO and Predix IT Ops initiatives to achieve Operations excellence.
  • Build strong partnerships and interactions with relevant P and Ls CIOs, Project teams and shared services teams as well as with functional business leadership teams in day to day IT support activities of IT Ops team.
  • Monitor and prioritize open issues to expedite closure and serve as an IM point of contact for escalation on all matters related to ITO application support.
  • Assist in enabling rapid response to quality & FASTWORKS initiatives, supporting other quick-hit process or system changes. Ownership of operations releases covering bug fixes, minor enhancements, patches / upgrades etc.
  • Responsible for identifying appropriate resources needed, assigning individual responsibilities, and developing schedules to ensure 24x7 global support is in place.
  • Responsible for preparing/partaking related communications for system outages, releases.
  • Participate in preparation & distribution key PS IT application support metrics, project reviews, execution of IT Ops projects and activities.
  • Support ITO IT Ops team in the areas of system improvements, application support consolidation, bullet trains for cost out's, etc.
  • Involvement in vendor relationships to ensure on-going delivery & operational support of high quality, cost effective solutions.
  • Further tasks not involved in this Job Description that the immediate leader/manager assigns verbally or in writing.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering
  • 3 years of relevant and progressive experience in the field of Information Technology to address business needs of digitization

  • Full understanding of change management processes incorporating multiple releases and business teams
  • Exposure to a service environment, ITIL process
  • Capacity to act as strong team player; ability to work on a virtual team without direct supervision
  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation and communication skills
  • Capable and influential at program management and business process improvements
