The role will lead Business Intelligence for the Power Services - MEA organization across assigned geographies/regions and will be responsible for driving initiatives in market insights, competitive intelligence, strategic & growth plans and policy & advocacy for the business.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide Marketing leadership for the business by developing local market expertise and insight using customer segmentation, targeting, and positioning of the business
• Work with global and region teams (Sales, FP&A, etc.) to forecast addressable market size, GE entitlement and correlate to Order plan
• Track local & global competition affecting the region; share insights from global counterparts with the team and support on any in-depth study required
• Capture emerging industry trends within assigned region and work closely with the Sales team to develop corresponding strategies and implementation of initiatives; support RGM on business blueprint reviews for the region
• Work closely with the Sales Leader to translate trends into opportunities, assist the Sales team in developing competitive advantage, increase sales competitive intelligence around trends, customer analyses and provide Voice of Customer (VOC) for business execution
• Work with the Commercial team for tracking deal pipeline, win-loss analysis, etc.
• Meet customers, regulators, policy makers to understand market dynamics, advocate GE solutions & positioning etc. to support in developing strategic plan for the business.
• Provide inputs to region leadership and global team on NPI asks from customers, identify opportunities, analyze new growth ideas, and target customers with value pricing for New Product Introduction (NPI) and commercialization
• Partner with the Communication team on industry forums & media; drive Customer engagement initiatives & campaigns, etc.


• MBA/Marketing degree from an accredited university or college
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in marketing/Consulting/Commercial role
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Energy and Power Gen project management
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the Energy and Power industry in the region

• Understanding of customer financial drivers/needs
• Ability to travel 25% + of the time
