The Wind PowerUp Platform Leader will be responsible for the strategic development and implementation of GE's Wind PowerUp Platform for the Renewable Energy Onshore Wind Services business and our customers.

Essential Responsibilities

GE's Wind PowerUp Platform includes a suite of software and hardware products that can increase annual energy production of GE wind turbines by up to 10%. Wind PowerUp is sold using "outcome based" commercial models and power performance calculations allowing GE's Customers to only pay for actual performance gains achieved from the installation of PowerUp products.

The Wind PowerUp Platform Leader will lead cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and drive the execution of new performance-improving NPI (new product introduction) programs into the PowerUp Platform. You will also collaborate closely with teams around the world to ensure PowerUp products are fully enabled to be sold and executed under new or existing platform requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible to fully operationalize Wind PowerUp products internally and externally including proactive identification and resolution of issues preventing the growth and profitability of GE's Wind PowerUp Platform.

As the Wind PowerUp Platform Leader, you will:
  • Identify and evaluate market needs, opportunities, and product business cases
  • Prioritize product, tool, and capability developments to maximize value to GE and customers
  • Be a spokesperson for the industry and participate in conferences and user groups to drive new and innovative trends in the marketplace
  • Drive engagement with regional teams to incorporate local requirements for successful product launches
  • Drive product development through ideation, economic evaluation, technical development & validation, and operationalizing
  • Support key commercial strategies and contractual portfolio needs
  • Quantify customer value proposition, differentiation, & lead commercial and technical discussions
  • Explore new areas & technologies where GE can innovate or bring value in the services performance upgrade space


  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, business administration or related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Manager
