Our vision is to be our customers' trusted energy partner.
E.ON IT UK provides a diverse range of IT solutions and services to its customer base within the E.ON group. We're currently looking for high-calibre Senior Business Analysts to join our growing department. Working within a fast-paced environment and alongside a motivated team your primary accountabilities will be to formulate and define the objectives for change projects based on end-user needs, your understanding of business systems and industry requirements. To achieve this you will act as a primary interface between our IT Department, senior stakeholders and 3rd Party Suppliers.
The role requires a positive team-orientated individual capable of demonstrating a high standard in achieving the following:
  • Generating and defining new ideas for change projects as well as translating elements of the business strategy into a fully scoped and refined project pipeline. You will be active in planning and scoping inter-related initiatives and helping senior-level business stakeholders make informed decisions about which initiatives to tackle and how to tackle them.
  • At ease with project complexities represented by delivering requirements through multiple integrated systems whilst managing various stakeholders across departments. You will have the ability to accommodate and manage the different perspectives and communication challenges that need to be successfully amalgamated in the delivery of large IT programs.
  • In addition to performing SBA activities on complex projects, you will coordinate and oversee the work of BA's within your team. This will require you to demonstrate leadership, professionalism and be committed in communicating the vision, key messages and objectives of the department. You will embody best-practice regarding requirements elicitation and project governance as defined in the departments processes. You will mentor and coach BA's to develop your team and assess performance regularly.
  • You will take the lead on the functional definition and business benefits of change, undertaking feasibility activities and reaching agreement on project scope, ensuring expectations and assumptions are clarified and understood. You'll then monitor technical delivery to ensure that requirements are being met.
This is a highly rewarding and varied role for which you will receive an excellent rewards package and extensive career development opportunities. E.ON is committed to equal opportunities and actively promotes diversity, equality and flexibility. You will be joining a dedicated team of IT professionals and working within a culture that can take your career to the next level. Above all though, you'll be helping to shape the future of one of the world's leading energy suppliers.
