Our client is looking for a Sales Manager to be responsible for the distribution business and team in Central Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously establish and develop business relationships with existing and new distribution partners and expanding sales coverage of the company in Central Europe
  • Design, development and implementation of the company’s sales plan in the Region of Northern Europe
  • Identify and develop key accounts. Negotiations and follow up of contracts
  • Manage entire selling process from forecasting to actual product delivery and payment collection for all the key accounts, staying in close contact both with customers and the company’s related internal departments
  • Ensure effective reporting of all activities under the managed accounts to the Sales Director Northern Europe on a weekly / monthly / quarterly basis as required
  • Identify, establish and manage multi-tiered relationships across customers and company’s organization to ensure a long-term business partnership
  • Represent the company in local and national exhibitions and conferences
  • Stay up to date with market information, including competitors and customers benchmarking and technical and financial market requirements

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years previous experience in selling technical B2B products, ideally within a comparative industry sector but strong candidates from all backgrounds will be considered
  • Minimum of 3 years managing a sales team
  • Ability to liaise with customers on different levels
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Emphasizing excellence
  • Pro-active self-starter
  • Creativity and motivation for sales
  • Fluent command of German and English is a must. Dutch or French is desirable
  • Willingness to travel regularly
