The HSEQ Warehouse Supervisor position is responsible for the Health and Safety, Environmental Policies and Quality Control for all Warehouses and Repair Centers in the US

Main Functions

  • Perform reception inspections at the central services warehouse and repair center
  • Work with Purchasing, SQA, Quality and Engineering teams to implement, develop and update quality plans in warehouses / repair centers to ensure internal personnel and suppliers deliver quality in their products and services having customer satisfaction as ultimate goal
  • Create and track Quality Walls and One Point Lessons (OPL) for Services and Repair Center Warehouses
  • Create and track NCRs for deviations in the supply process at Services and Repair center warehouses
  • Provide support with the identification of spare parts and references
  • Perform Quality Audits in Warehouses and Repair Centers in order to align activities with the Gamesa Quality Management System
  • Inspections of large components in internal and vendor facilities
  • Foster and maintain the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality culture at warehouses and repair centers
  • Interface closely with management, after sales and logistics to develop and deploy improvement projects to deliver customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with Corporate to integrate quality processes and continuous improvement methodology based on Lean principles and practices focused on customer value, process standardization, and built-in-quality and waste elimination
  • Provide feedback to SQA for the supplier performance analysis
  • Interact and coordinate with corporate central warehouse and SQA worldwide in order to identify, prevent and correct deviations with supplier product serial defects and claims
  • Work with windfarms to address quality issues in the field resolving OPL's, and insuring the quality of the components available to our technicians in the field
  • Position may require occasional travel to the windfarms to inspect components and compliance to OPL's in the field
  • Perform other duties as assigned


4-5 years of University Studies in Engineering - Technical Studies

Other Knowledge

  • Ability to read an interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, using Microsoft Office(excel and word).
  • Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
  • Ability to climb wind turbine towers up to 330' in height
  • Ability to travel extensively up to six weeks at a time between short trips home and work up to 70 hours needed to meet project schedules
