Remove and replace of vehicle components, instrument TA, fueling vehicles with Stoddard, and load TA with proper weight distribution per test request. Run crash test controls, Running the rollover spit upon crash completion. Removing vehicle components and instrumentation once test has been complete. Assemble and removing components and instrumentation from crash dummies.
High School Diploma


  • Associate degree in Automotive Technology and/or experience in a crash/safety test facility.
  • Electrical and mechanical knowledge
  • Computer software and data acquisition knowledge

Physical Requirements

Lifting - 25%, up to 50 pounds max

Climbing - 25%

Safety glasses, hearing protection on sites, safety shoes - 100%

Manual handling of Powered Material Handling Vehicle (PMHV) - 75%

Audiograms required (TWA over 85 dB)

Sitting (50%), Standing (50%), Bending (25%), stooping (25%)

Job requires manual labor

Work Environment

Inside facility - 100%

Must pass PMHV licensing

Monday through Friday - 100%

Day shift 7:00am-3:30pm, but Shift assignment is subject to change, so candidate must be flexible with available work hours

Punctuality is critical - 100%

Other Essential Functions

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, health performance evaluation, PHMV exam and background check.

Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with customers, management and co-workers. Must have clear, concise and accurate communications skills in English, both verbal and written. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to self or others. Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner. Dependable personal transportation to work site is required.
