As HR Team Lead for Travel Management, your key tasks and responsibilities will be to:
- Ensure, together with the Delivery Manager, that all global services relating to Travel Management are appropriately set up and then delivered in accordance with the agreed standards from the Krakow Hub;
- Manage delivery of global services relating to Travel Management both to the business and to other HR stakeholders;
- Manage a Travel Management related team, providing travel administration related services together with other ABB and external stakeholders. The typical tasks the team would be responsible for are e.g. doing bookings, travel approvals and processing of expense claims;
- Act as a key contact for all HR stakeholders requesting services from the team;
- Manage the team with a strong focus on effective operational execution, responsible for the short to mid-term operational and tactical activities of the team;
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of Travel Management processes by monitoring execution, overseeing organization of the team and appropriately allocating work and assignments to individual team members;
- Oversee analysis of Travel Management transactions to measure accuracy and efficiency. Highlight discrepancies and anomalies for correction and provide regular reports to GBS management;
- Identify, recommend and assist in implementing best practices to gain efficiency and drive productivity gains;
- Lead internal controls over Travel Management transactions together with the HR Delivery Manager;
- Support people development by providing regular coaching and training to the team members and act as Subject Matter Expert for the assigned HR Services;
- Ensure a positive working relationship within the team and with external customers by measuring customer/ employee satisfaction and building on them;
- Show a customer service mind-set and a proactive way of working to serve customers with a "can do" attitude when delivering HR Service support to the HR community, managers and employees;
- Fully manage human resource planning, selection, development and periodic performance review of team members;
- Supports Knowledge Capture phase and drives Knowledge Transfer phase, ensuring right quality level of procedures and drives operational readiness activities.

To be successful in this role you will need:
- Previous broad experience in an HR function;
- Prior experience in a core Travel Management role;
- Previous experience of direct team management;
- Completed a degree in higher education (e.g. BA), or gained equivalent experience;
- Proficiency in business English;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent user knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel skills;
- Excellent team handling and delegations skills;
- Strong Customer service orientation;
- Collaborative and conflict resolving approach to stakeholder management;
- Complete understanding of different aspects of Travel Management as a function;
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and handle different initiatives at the same time;
- Ability to create a learning atmosphere among team members;
- Ability to create and leverage networks within the organization;
- Strong analytical skills.

In addition, the following would be highly preferable:
- Prior experience in an HR Business Partner role;
- Experience in HR Shared Services for a Global Company;
- Masters or postgraduate studies in HR;
- Proficiency in business Spanish, Dutch or French;
- Complete knowledge of Travel Management methodologies.
- Hands-on experience of working on ERP preferably SAP and other analytic tools and techniques.
