Supports the Customers and Front-End Sales Team throughout the proposal process by preparing technical descriptions of ABB Robotics Body-in-White products and technology, determining costs, preparing commercial documentation and serving as a key technical engineer, in line with BU vision and values.

Sales support:
-Supports the Customers & Front-End Sales Team in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions, and in the preparation of demanding offers.

Offer preparation:
-Preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, Front-End Sales Team indications and Business Line directives.

Cost definition:
-Defines cost for the proposed solution and communicates to Front-End Sales Team.

Risk review:
-Provides information to the risk review process in accordance with ABB policy and participates in the risk review assessment.

Competitive analysis:
-Analyzes customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and information provided by the Front-End Sales Team.

Lost proposals:
-Performs lost proposal analysis, identifies potential cause and recommends future actions in cooperation with Sales/Local Business Line to obtain better future results.

-University Degree in Engineering (other Technical Degree might be considerate), preferably Mechanical and/or Electrical engineer.
-Speaking, reading & writing fluently in English required. Knowledge of Spanish and French will be appreciated.
-Basic Knowledge in 2D/3D designing tools (Autocad, SolidWorks ...).
-Proven experience (>5 years) in Engineering / Applications department with Automotive Customers in international projects in Body-in-White projects, having a deep knowledge of welding processes and equipments.
-Knowledge of robotic products and experience in project management and/or field installations (as site manager or similar) would be appreciated.
-Strong understanding of customer and automotive market dynamics and requirements.
-Team working skills and ability to follow-up internal processes and tools.
-Tidy and dynamic person, flexible with autonomy and decision.
-Willingness to travel sometimes and work in a global team of professionals.
