CH2M is looking for a Risk and Interface Manager to join our Inner Doha Resewerage Strategy Implementation (IDRIS) Program Management Consultant (PMC) team.

This position will lead the risk management process for the program management team and also support management of technical and stakeholder interfaces within the programme and between the programme and outside projects and stakeholders. The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated professional with at least 15 years of successful Infrastructure project delivery experience preferably with a tunneling or utility construction background.


Reporting to the PMC Programme Director, this position will manage the risk program and provide technical support to manage the interfaces between the contracts and third party stakeholders.  The position will maintain a programme risk register and deploy risk assessment and quantification tools and processes. 


You will be working closely with the rest of the PMC team including the Construction Oversight Engineer, the Lead Design Manager, The Health and Safety Manager, Environmental Manager, Permitting Specialist and the Communications and Liaison Manager.

Minimum Qualifications
As a successful candidate you will be qualified in a B.S. or higher level degree in engineering discipline, preferably civil or mechanical. You will come with 15 years of progressive construction delivery experience in the consulting field and on major capital infrastructure projects ideally within the water sector although not essential.

You will be the type of professional who excels in the management and coordination of 3rd party stakeholder interfaces.

It would be highly preferable if you have technical experience in the design or construction of tunnels and/or micro tunnels. 

You will be bringing to the project capabilities in understanding Risk Management including development and management of risk programs, assessment of construction risk and development of risk mitigation strategies.

Preferred Qualifications
Professional registration/certification (Professional Engineer, Chartered Engineer, Certified Construction Manager, etc.) highly preferred.

Prior Middle East or international experience highly preferred.
