These services include site acquisition, design and construction, to full operations, maintenance, and deconstruction.

Under general supervision the incumbent exercises independent judgment and discretion and is responsible for applying knowledge of administrative management practices. Duties involve either work directly related to general business operations or supervising and overseeing the work of others. Supervisory responsibilities include directly planning, organizing and controlling the activities of two or more individuals. The individual may perform some of the same activities as the employees who are supervised, however, this is limited and performance is measured by results obtained through others.

Join the team in our San Diego, CA office on an OSP (outside plant) wireline project where you will be assisting the group with engineering and constructing the expansion of a network.

The selected candidate will be assigned to one of our functional groups as a Coordinator and asked to assist in estimating, cost control, forecasting, trend analysis, change order control, risk assessment and management, forensic schedule analysis, earned value management, progress measurement/reporting, productivity analysis and calculation, subcontractor management, schedule development, progress reporting, vendor management, field engineering, site safety and overall product quality.

Jacobs is currently seeking candidates with a 3.0 GPA or higher, within the following Degree Programs:

  • Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, or other related Engineering degree
  • Construction Management

• Recent college graduate is required
• Computer literate and have proficiency with Word and Excel is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• BS Degree in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, or other related Engineering degree OR Construction Management preferred.

The successful candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship.
