HR Business Partner for our wind power operations Are you an experienced HR generalist who likes changes, challenges and a growth agenda?
Join us and become HR Business Partner in the People & Development department supporting our growing Wind Power business in our key operational hubs. With continued plans for expansion, the HR Business Partner will provide key HR support on local level to the project and operations teams of our existing and developing wind farms. Your focus will be to provide hands on generalist operational HR support and provide advice to the site leadership teams and the employees based on- and offshore.
People & Development is part of our Group functions which cover Group Support, Group Finance & Services and Group IT. In Group Support, we focus our efforts on supporting the entire business and ensuring that the company works as a professional, reliable and responsible company.
You will be based at our office in Grimsby. However, you should expect regular travel to other key operational hubs in the North West and East coast of England.
Your key duties will be to
  • support managers in the effective management of employee relations cases
  • provide comprehensive advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR policy and practises
  • assist with management of employee rostering and offshore working arrangements
  • provide support with recruitment, on-boarding and training processes
  • provide a responsive advisory service at local level to employees for all HR and pay related queries in conjunction with the HR team at our London office as required.
Your qualifications and core competences include that you
  • are a proven HR generalist with extensive experience handling ER case work and have a strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practise
  • have proven experience working with flexible working patterns, eg offshore, rosters etc, and within a highly Health & Safety conscious environment
  • have the ability to work with significant autonomy and independently build effective working relationships at all levels and with all functions, eg HSE, Finance, IT etc
  • are happy to work in a changing and hands-on environment
  • are able and flexible to travel to other locations on a regular basis
  • preferably, have experience in a similar commercial environment within a complex/matrix and corporate and operational workforce.
