We are currently looking for an experienced Inside Sales Director to support our inside sales team as we expand our market reach. This is a unique and exciting opportunity as we are an established corporate business working in a start-up environment.
This is a senior leadership role which includes people management and development, setting of goals and objectives, revenue generation and diversification, and driving a culture of accountability and growth through change.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Establish revenue, productivity and performance objectives
    for inside sales teams
  • Develop and manage a healthy and sustainable pipeline to
    support revenue goals and provide accurate forecasting
  • Develop a strategic plan to proactively engage with sales
    regions, customers and partners to meet revenue objectives, and deliver year
    over year growth.
  • The ability and desire to provide support through leadership
    and guidance to other teams and business units
  • Set clear expectations and hold teams accountable to
    performance through consistent communication and coaching
  • Lead, motivate and inspire the inside sales team every
    single day.
  • Share insights and mentor, show don't just tell, mentor,
    remove roadblocks.
  • Be the expert in identifying challenges that our prospective
    clients face, which can be solved with GE Digital Software
  • Teach the team to identify customer needs / requirements and
    recommend the appropriate products and solutions
  • Maintain current knowledge of sales leadership processes and
    customer's buying trends to increase pipeline growth
  • Structure and maintain a comprehensive orientation process
    for new sales force personnel
  • Coach and train on the use and utilization of sales best
    practices and Salesforce
  • Manage the team to exceeding quota and fostering
    professional development to create advancement opportunities for team members.
  • Identify, plan and participate in ongoing professional
    development for Inside Sales Representatives
  • Maintain accurate reporting and forecasting in Salesforce
  • Provide daily, weekly, or monthly performance and analytic
    reports determined by department head. This includes monthly forecast,
    pipeline, and other strategic reports.
  • Exceed monthly and quarterly forecast.
  • Research and understand current marketing campaigns to help
    the sales force best utilize and execute against all objectives


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required
  • 5+ years in a leadership role

  • 3+ years of business-to-business consultative high volume
    phone sales experience is preferred

  • GB Certified (GE employees only)
  • Master's Degree in Functional Specialty and / or MBA
  • Working knowledge of GE gas turbine products and services
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proven problem solving skills and data analysis experience
  • Process oriented with strong interpersonal and influencing
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities in a cross
    functional team environment
  • Ability to make decisions with incomplete and ambiguous
