Position Summary


Responsibilities include organizing and coordinating project execution plans and field communications; researching information relative to project and client needs; troubleshooting in regards to given project assignments by project managers; supporting program principals in the effort to continuously improve market-specific assessment philosophy and execution strategies; and assisting in establishing and maintaining project documentation to include project schedules, project databases, project set-up forms, etc.
  • Provides coordination of multi-discipline A/E inspection teams (i.e., civil, mechanical, architecture) for a given project
  • Assists project manager in the preparation of production schedules and project budgets
  • Assists with project reviews and resolution of problem areas
  • Assists with submittals to clients
  • Communicates verbally and formally with other project managers, customer representatives, contractors, and inspectors
  • Establishes scope of work and assessment responsibilities based on understanding of client's expectations for building operation and function, knowledge of the client's building documents and location/accessibility, and specifications and qualification of documents included in project deliverables
  • Coordinates and/or attends project and consultant meetings as required
  • Contributes to and supports field assessment safety plans and procedures; assures conformance to company guidelines and practices
  • Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems
  • Researches and prepares all necessary building documents and information in preparation of assessments
  • Coordinates day-to-day field site activities including building access, safety concerns, scheduling, etc.
  • Prepares assessment progress reports for management, client, or others
  • Provides logic and schedule input to master project schedule for assessment activities; develops schedule updates as required
  • Reviews and provides feedback on operation and maintenance manuals, training plans, and inspection manuals
  • Develops and maintains project documentation to include assessment plan, assessment checklists, meeting reports, presentations, inspection reports, etc
  • Provides reviews at specified intervals in the project
  • Manages and directs assessment process

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in engineering or technical field, required
  • Proficient in and technical knowledge of MS Office Suite and MS Project
  • Strong presentation skills required
  • Strong technical writing skills required
  • Self starter
  • Good verbal and written communication skills required
  • Requires advanced interpersonal skills in order to work with clients and/or project teams
  • Some travel required
