Primary Job Responsibilities

The Interior Designer performs a variety of responsible and complex planning and designing of interiors that are practical, aesthetic and conducive to intended purposes. The successful candidate will be passionate about design, detail-oriented, efficient and devoted to quality output, able to work independently as well as in a team environment, possess the organization skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple deadlines, and have excellent communication skills.

The following duties are typical for this classification. Incumbents may not perform all of the listed duties and/or may be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth below to address business needs and changing business practices.

  • Collaborative involvement in all phases of the design process including programming & space planning
  • Design, presentation, and construction drawings
  • Preparation of renderings and other presentation materials
  • Assist with vendor, consultant, and client relationships
  • Material, furniture, and product selection and specification
  • Perform research related to building code and materials requirements
  • Perform related duties as required

Training & Experience:

  • Must be fluent in Dutch and English (both are mandatory)
  • Spanish is not mandatory but it will be an advantage
  • Professional Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited school
  • A progressive work history of 3-5+ or more years' experience in a professional design practice.


  • Willing to travel to the Netherlands on a regular basis.
