We are actively searching for qualified candidates for this potential opening. We do not have assurance at this time that the position will be opened and when. Because we have strong reason to believe the position will be approved soon, we are going ahead with identifying candidates.

The Candidate shall provide Quality Assurance/Control Support Services in support of the scalable ranges for DPM support. Specific tasks include the following: assisting with targeted and full process quality assistance/control audits, in-depth research and analysis of emerging policy, regulations, directives, or industrial issues, and preparing written reports outlining audit support findings. The skills required to provide these services include: proficiency in QAR and COR surveillance/audit processes and proficiency in evaluating and developing metrics for performance-based contracts.

a. Assist with Targeted and Full Process Quality Assistance/Control Audits. The Candidate shall provide the required services to assist with targeted and full process quality assistance/control audits in support of small, medium, and large scale efforts. Audits shall analyze candidate performance using DoD and FAR standards and IAW the performance candidate's Quality Control Plan (QCP). Communication shall be responsive and timely.

b. In-depth Research and Analysis of Emerging Policy, Regulations, Directives, or Industrial Issues. The Candidate shall provide the required services to perform research and analysis of emerging policy, regulations, directives, or industrial issues in support of small, medium, and large scale efforts. Advice and work products shall be current, accurate, and technically sound. Communication shall be professional and responsive.

c. Prepare Written Reports Outlining Audit Support Findings. The Candidate shall provide the required services to prepare written reports outlining audit support findings in support of small, medium, and large scale efforts. Documents shall be prepared in the standardized format when required and shall be technically sound and free of errors. Documents shall be completed within the required timeframe. Interfaces between Jacobs, other contractors, and clients, as required. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum of 2 years of college or vocational training in area of specialty plus 6 years relevant experience, or any equivalent combination of education/ experience for total of 8 years. Demonstrated communication skills are required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. Must possess experience in Quality Assurance / Control. Must be willing to travel. Must possess demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with others and have demonstrated supervisory skills. Must be familiar with the use and integration of Microsoft Office application suite.

Essential Functions

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require filing, typing, and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, included but not limited to: bending, reaching, turning and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distances may be required.

Work Environment

An inside and outside environment (considerations: closed quarters, close together, lighting). Needs to be able to work well with co-workers and all levels of management. No hazards on job or unusual environmental conditions.

Equipment and Machines

Ability to operate office equipment such as a personal computer, printer, copy machine, telephone, fax machine and other equipment including desk supplies and other work related tools as required.


Regular hours will be between Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Regular attendance of scheduled hours is extremely important, but not critical, except for deadlines and meetings. Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines. Must exhibit flexibility of work hours to adjust to surge situations based on critical mission requirements.

Other Essential Functions

Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with customers, management and co-workers. Must have clear, concise and accurate communications skills in English, both verbal and written. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to employees or others. Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner. Independent personal transportation to office or work site is required. Travel to and from customer's locations and the test fields may be required to support projects. This may involve airline travel. In some cases, accommodations can possibly be made for POV, if necessary. When operating any vehicle for work purposes, must wear seat belt and in addition, no cellular devices are to be used when vehicle is in motion.
