Position Summary

Our team has an immediate need for an experienced Project Administrative Assistant in the Tampa, FL office.

This position requires an individual who shows initiative, exercises independent judgment, multi-tasks, good communication skills and requires little supervision. The individual must have a comprehensive knowledge of administrative procedures and processes and an employment background that has included supporting senior management and staff and interfacing with other internal functions.

This position also requires the collection and maintenance of project data which involves soliciting progress information from project team members and producing progress reports, publishing meeting minutes, processing contract documents for review, tracking budgets, submitting sub invoices, tracking action items, and general project correspondence.

There is a broad spectrum of responsibilities ranging from normal day to day office activities to complex assignments. Tasks range from answering the phone to compiling, tracking and reporting on project information and finances. Also manages calendar, makes travel arrangements, meeting arrangements and general office support.

  • High school education or equivalent is required
  • Minimum 7 years general office support is required
  • Previous experience employment within an engineering, architectural, or construction company with similar job responsibilities is preferred
  • At least 7 years of professional work experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required
