Jacobs is actively seeking a Instructional Systems Support Analysts in Orlando, FL to support the acquisition of USMC training systems in the live, virtual and constructive domains. Projects are in all phases of the acquisition process from development to disposal.

The Instructional System Support Analyst is responsible for analyzing and integrating training concepts and strategies and elements of training and logistic support required to operate, maintain, and support live, virtual, and constructive training systems and projects for the Program Manager Training Systems (PM TRASYS). This position requires a firm understanding of training acquisition programs, life cycle support planning, configuration management processes, and sustainable logistics procedures which lead to reduced program costs.

Specific responsibilities include:
  • Working in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment and effectively communicating with co-workers.
  • Producing plans and reports to support project managers in developing manpower, Personnel and Training (MPT) analyses, and other plans as input data to logistics requirements, funding summaries, fielding plans, and sustainment plans.
  • Evaluating technical designs for effectiveness of training capabilities and system fidelity; and conduct Training System Effectiveness Evaluations on existing training systems.
  • Conducting evaluations of vendor-produced Instructional Design and Instructional Materials Development Assessments; vendor provided instructional manuals; New Equipment Training courseware; and Instructor Key Personnel training and courseware in accordance with ADDIE and SAT Concepts.
  • Planning, analyzing, evaluating and maintaining all instructional products and materials for assigned projects.
  • Reviewing and performing training systems metrics data analyses.
  • Other duties as assigned.


The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Instructional Systems Design or related field from an accredited college or university and ten (10) years of progressive and relevant experience in DoD Instructional System support. Additional related experience may substitute for education.

Ability to work with others to understand requirements, collaborates on projects, and receives user feedback.
  • Logistics Management experience with Live, Virtual and Constructive Training systems in the Army or USMC environment is highly desirable.
  • Acquisition program management experience within the DoD environment is desired.
  • Experience with Live, Virtual and Constructive Training systems in the USMC or Army environment is highly desirable.
  • Must be competent in the MS Office software suite (Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel) with SharePoint experience.
  • Good oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and have strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills are required.
  • Position will require frequent travel.
  • Must be able to provide proof of US Citizenship.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • A current Secret Security Clearance is desired.
