ENERCON is currently seeking an Environmental Inspector to join the team in Tulsa, OK. Duties of the position will include:
  • Perform on-site environmental inspections associated with pipeline construction projects
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, including the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, the Endangered Species Act, and Clean Water Act (Section 404)
  • Ensure proper installation of erosion control devices
  • Environmental Inspection is an intense exercise of knowledge, judgement, and stamina as projects are conducted on a rotating 7-day week in the full range of outdoor conditions

As a qualified candidate, you will have the above experience and meet the below requirements:
  • 2+ years of erosion and sediment control management experience;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Experience conducting FERC compliance inspection for new pipeline installation
  • Ability to work long hours outdoors under various field conditions;
  • Ability to pass a drug test;
  • Valid Driver's License;
  • This position requires a clear Motor Vehicle report/driving history
  • BA/BS Degree in Environmental Science, Biological Resources, or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to travel between 15-25% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks. Position may occasionally involve a client site assignment lasting several months at a time.
