Our Environmental Services practice area performs environmental consulting services for a variety of industries, including Utilities, Financial Services, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Mining, Petro-Chemical, Industrial, Commercial, Water & Wastewater Treatment, and Land Development. We are currently looking for an Engineering Lead to join the ENERCON Team at our offices in our Sacramento, CA office.

The key responsibilities of the position include:
• Business Development responsibilities including establishing new client relationships, and maintaining existing client relationships;
• Prepare and present cost and technical proposals for engineering services;
• Design engineering;
• Cost engineering;
• Direct, coordinate, and manage engineering projects and support service line managers, project managers, and office management;
• Manage Sacramento Office engineering staff, staff development and training, assist in identifying and hiring qualified candidates;
• Manage project tasks and sub-contractors as may be required;

As a qualified candidate, you will have the above experience and meet the below requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and registration as a California Professional Engineer is required. Other engineering degrees (i.e. Mechanical) with significant related experience will be considered. Advanced Engineering / Business degree is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of Engineering experience performing environmental engineering including Civil/Water Resources, design, drawing and plan review, development of specifications, Active Treatment Systems (ATS) experience is a plus;
• Civil/Environmental certifications, licensee, registrations, etc. (i.e. LEED, PMP, CPESC, QSD, QEP, HAZWOPER, etc.) are a plus.
• Demonstrable Project Management and business development skills with proposal preparation experience required.
• Experience developing and submitting plans / permits for SPCC, SWPPP, fuel storage systems, etc. is a plus.
• Candidates should be well versed in federal and state regulations pertaining to Environmental Engineering requirements.
• Experience with Hydraulic and Hydrologic Modeling is desirable including HEC-RAS, HEC-GeoRAS, HEC-HMS, HEC-GeoHMS, FLO-2D, Hydrocad, Flow Master, Hydraflow, InfoWater, WaterGEMS, WaterCAD, WinTR55, TR-20, VTPSUHM 7.0, HY-8 7.0, Culvert Master, SWMM 5.0, ArcGIS 9.3, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Safe driving record and ability to travel for business.
• Some overnight travel to areas throughout the United States will be required.
• Strong technical writing skills and attention to detail.
• Good verbal communication skills with ability to develop & maintain client relationships;
• Problem solving and general scientific evaluation skills.
• Computer skills including experience with MS Office Word/Excel/Outlook/Power Point.
