We are currently looking for a Biologist to join the ENERCON Team.

In this role, y our Key Responsibilities will be to:
  • Perform technical duties related to wetlands, wildlife and NEPA review of client projects. Client interaction, project management and Business Development duties will also be required.

As a qualified candidate, you will have the above experience and meet the below requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Environmental Science, Natural Resources, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years of environmental consulting experience which must include experience preparing environmental studies under NEPA including wetlands delineation, habitat assessments and regulatory permitting (FERC experience preferred).
  • Demonstrated aptitude to identify, solicit and retain new client contacts while servicing existing accounts.
  • Experience with utilities a plus.
  • Working relationship with State agencies, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Department.
  • Must have experience working with state, local, and federal agencies to obtain permits, including familiarity with permitting requirements under the CWA, ESA, and NHPA.
  • Strong technical writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Good verbal communication skills with ability to maintain & develop client relationships.
  • Problem solving and general scientific evaluation skills.
  • Project management, business development, & proposal development experience.
  • Computer skills including experience with MS Office Word/Excel.
  • Ability to travel between 15-25% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs; ranging from a few days to a few weeks. Position may occasionally involve a client site assignment lasting several months at a time.
  • This position requires a clear Motor Vehicle Report / driving history and Safe Driving Record.
