Our Environmental Services practice area performs environmental consulting services for a variety of industries, including Utilities, Financial Services, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Mining, Petro-Chemical, Industrial, Commercial, Water & Wastewater Treatment, and Land Development. We are currently looking for a Sr. Technical Specialist - Cyber Security Compliance to join the ENERCON Team.

Contract positions based at various nuclear plants.

Typical Job Responsibilities:
  • Key member of project team responsible for performing cyber security assessments to support client cyber security program
  • Validate hardware configuration and software configurations via physical or logical walk-downs.
  • Document findings in accordance with client procedures
  • Develop additional sketches as needed to document the configuration of critical digital assets (CDA).
  • Assist in performing CDA assessments per NEI 08-09 App. D/ E or RG 5.71 App. B/ C, NEI 13-10 Rev 4, and applicable client procedures
  • Assist in evaluation of technical, operational and management controls for Critical Digital Assets
  • Identify and recommend options for remediation of identified vulnerabilities, including the development of alternate controls
  • Participate in and/or remain cognizant of industry initiatives and regulatory issues related to Cyber Security requirements and programs

Minimum Requirements
  • Experience in development and completion of cyber security Direct/ Indirect assessments per NEI 08-09, and NEI 13-10 Rev 4.
  • Must be able to obtain security clearances to obtain unescorted access to a nuclear facility
  • Must be able to obtain qualification for customer cyber security critical group
  • Experience in the nuclear industry
  • Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills; Must be comfortable making presentations to clients and/or company management
  • Computer skills including experience with MS Office Word / Excel / Outlook / PowerPoint
  • Safe driving record
  • Ability to travel between 15-25% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks. Position may occasionally require a client site assignment lasting several months at a time.

Desired Requirements
  • 10 years of experience in Cyber Security
  • BAS degree in Cyber Security
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time
  • CISSP or CISA certification(s)
