  • Be part of CMO driven development projects and ensure the planning, development and optimisation of new software products based on a continuous-delivery-process on our digital platforms
  • Guiding development, developing, integrating, testing and documenting new solutions to meet agreed business specifications for the Customer Solutions, Energy Networks and Renewables Business
  • Close collaboration with architects, product owners and other stakeholders to enable modern application development (enable continuous integration and deployment, DevOps)
  • Designing interfaces to other high-availability-systems and conduct development activities within a multi-disciplined team for all stages of development lifecycles (planning, estimation, execution)
  • Understanding the competitive environment the Business operates in and knowing what delivers advantage from a digital business perspective
  • Actively identify areas for improvement and contribute to proof-of-concepts to evaluate new technologies, frameworks and architectures to drive innovative ideas into the IT and business
  • Teach younger developers and ensure knowledge transfer in programming clean and qualitative high-end code

  • University degree in engineering, computer sciences, information systems, economics or equivalent professional qualification
  • Several years of experience as a Software Developer with a high affinity for quality and clean code
  • Excellent knowledge of Java EE 8 (esp. CDI, JSF, EJB, JAX-RS), IntelliJ and Maven as well as databases (preferred NoSQL), data structures and agile methods like Kanban or Scrum
  • Highly experienced in planning, evaluating and setting up state-of-the-art software architectures
  • Profound knowledge of digital core technologies (e.g. data management, data analytics, integration, process automation, mobile, social, API Management, DevOps, cloud)
  • Excellent English language skills (spoken and written), fluent German language skills preferable
  • Ability to collaborate actively across cultural and organizational boundaries
  • High ambition to follow and evaluate new trends and acquire new skills (out-of-the-box thinking)
  • Willingness to accept frequent business trips
