ABB is currently developing the IS PMO Organization to consolidate and deliver high quality IS services to ABB business units around the globe and focus more of our attention to innovation and development. For our growing global team, we are currently looking for candidates for the position of Global Project Portfolio Management (PPM) & Project Management (PM) Tools Manager to build our Project Management capability.

The core responsibility of Global PPM & PM Tools Manager will be to manage development and operations of Global IS Project Management and Project Portfolio Management tools delivered as an IS service to the ABB users base.

As a Global PPM&PM Tools Manager, you will:

• Be responsible for building and delivering specific IS solutions/services, as advised;
• Review Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and corresponding service monitoring & controlling metrics to identify rightsizing opportunities;
• Ensure PPM system, Workforce Management (WFM) solution, PM solutions and any other internal PMO tool operability to the agreed SLA levels (monitor system availability and performance, manage user accesses, handle incidents, troubleshoot application problems, perform system administration and recurring maintenance activities, etc.);
• Proactively seek for improvements, better and more optimal tools and costs efficiency;
• Execute the IS solution/service delivery utilizing the internal IS delivery units and IS operations team members as well as external 3rd party IS service suppliers in a "core and flex model", as advised;
• Deliver an IS service or support within appropriate domain or subdomain for IS Solutions to the relevant customer group, ensuring execution of requirements within budgeted costs and time schedule;
• Implement tools changes (understand requirements, propose design, configure, test, demo and implement changes in production as well as document and support implementation);
• Support end users in using a system and provide end user trainings;
• Coordinate problems fixing with external vendor;
• Build knowledge base about tools;
• Support IS PM Methodologies (process measures and improvements) with IS PPM and PM tools;
• Ensure work in the domain is aligned to given goals and compliant with ABB IS Enterprise Architecture and any other applicable ABB Group Directives and ABB Group Guidelines, especially ABB IS Guidelines and Directive, which deal with IS service delivery;
• Manage budget assigned for global PM/PPM tools operations and deliver activities within agreed schedules and costs. On request, participate in the definition of costs and schedules;
• In concert with IS Business Relationship, ensure satisfaction with IS services, understanding their strategic and tactical needs, making sure actions are taken to close any gaps, and influencing stakeholder perceptions of the relevant IS services;
• Ensure SLA delivery from external 3rd party vendors;
• Support major incident & critical situation resolution;
• As the case may be, ensure (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guide, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, for the benefit of both ABB and the employee;
• Manage a team of tools specialist and support.

• Above 5 years of IS experience in application operations and delivery;
• Excellent IS developing and operations skills and a deep understanding of the overall context of business processes and IS technologies;
• Strong experience in leading IS people who do not report directly, including experience in identifying and resolving issues between team members or other teams;
• Strong experience in translating business requirements into technical IS capabilities and solutions;
• Strong experience in project planning and execution as well as economic aspects of system management and life cycle;
• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes;
• Superior knowledge of IS technology;
• Strong experience in information management, computer systems, business engineering or similar;
• Strong experiencer in Project Portfolio Management systems;
• Strong experience in Sharepoint configuration and managing application operations;
• System development/configuration, testing and administration experience;
• Requirement engineering knowledge;
• Database administration and configuration experience;
• Project Management, IS Project Methodology and PPM and PM tools knowledge;
• Configuring cloud solution knowledge;
• Vendor management skills;
• Work with global user base;
• Agile team management experience.
