Do you have the leadership skills needed to drive effective change management? Are you looking for a fresh challenge as a key player in IT development with strategic and operational responsibilities? ABB's Robotics unit in Västerås, just an hour from Stockholm, and part of the Group's Discrete Automation and Motion division, currently has an opening for an experienced Sales Systems Owner. ABB Robotics in Västerås develops, manufactures, and markets industrial robots and control systems, software, arc welding products, track motion systems, and motor packages. With some 600 employees based in Västerås and Gothenburg, more than 90 percent of the unit's production is exported. Customers include all the major automotive manufacturers, their subcontractors, and a number of other sectors such as the global food sector. Sales are managed by local ABB companies, as well as by free-standing system integrators and OEMs. There are currently some 300,000 ABB robots in service worldwide.

As Sales Systems Owner you will play an integral role at Robotics Supply Unit Sales Support, where you will have overall responsibility for our sales tools, such as quotation, product configuration and e-commerce system. Tasks will include process development and change, and monitoring and organizing new system requirements. You will also be expected to work actively with future e-commerce strategy, support the implementation of new applications, and represent the unit in reference meetings arranged by Global IS.

Establishing an extensive business network - internally and externally - is also a key aspect of this wide-ranging role. You will be required to ensure that processes are continually improved to meet growing customer demand, both on a daily basis and in the long term, by participating in the development of our e-commerce strategy to ensure that current and future requirements are met.

You are open and outgoing, and your highly developed social skills mean that you easily liaise with others. Along with the capacity to analyse and solve problems creatively, you are a quality-focused team player, with strong planning and organization skills, and are well-versed in project management tasks.

You either have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in IS or IT, and preferably several years' professional experience in these areas. A proven track record in IT process development, technical processes and architecture is required, as is fluency in English.
