The Siemens PLM Strategic Student Program (SSP) is a unique opportunity for undergraduate college students to gain real world working experiences in the growing field of software and digitalization. Job Descriptions:

Tool Area:
•Work on our continuous integration web presence.  As we continue to grow our continuous integration footprint throughout our product, the need for data and analytics with regard to our change packages, environments, etc., will also continue to grow. The successful applicant will have real world web development expertise.  Experience with AngularJS, javascript, and PHP a plus.
•Support for our continuous integration and continuous environment efforts, specifically with regard to our build and test scripts and automation of the same.  Primary focus is to automate our ongoing build and test runs, including both nightly deployments and ongoing build and test runs.  Bash and perl are the primary scripting languages we will utilize while wrapping in Jenkins for the automation.
•The job also entails strong experience analyzing large quantities of data with regard to build time, test time, and test failure information.  The need is to review and asses this data along with general metrics review, analysis, and recommendations from same.  Results of this analysis are to help remove bottlenecks in our build and test process along with identify automation by which we can identify ongoing test failures.  The benefit should be continuous improvements as we evaluate the data and make decisions on how to improve the various areas measured
Security area:
•Work with static analysis results of C++/Java code and determine the proper fixes, if there are patterns in what is being coded incorrectly, help with presentation on how to better code initially and improve code standards.   Having C++ coding class is recommended.  
•Help rollout desktop static analysis tool by using this to work on the above and help determine the best practice for use.  
•Work with dynamic analysis tools, run these tools weekly and do more fuzzy testing with our product.
•Candidate needs to be self-motivated and willing to ask questions

Minimum Requirements:

• You must be a student at the University of Cincinnati.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• You must be a US citizen or green card holder.
• Enrolled in a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or another related technical discipline.
• Experience with C, C++, C#, JAVA or XML.
