Job Description
HTML5 Senior Software Engineer - Siemens PLM - Aliso Viejo, CA

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer that has a strong working knowledge of database and related technologies, a firm grasp of modern technologies such as HTML5, and a strong programming background in the area of industrial automation or related solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform research activities which include interfacing frequently with team mates and also with customers
• Perform software development activities as part of a highly innovative research and development team
• Develop and maintain software programs while following defined agile PLM procedures which includes writing design specifications
• Review and assist Software Test in development of test plans
• Interface with Software Test, Customer Support, Project and Product Management

Minimum Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science or related field. MS a plus
• Minimum of 5 years professional development experience with focus on
server and client technologies
• Good working experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle
• Working experience with business intelligence technologies including data warehousing
• Good working knowledge of XML and Web Services
• Experience creating object-oriented software designs
• Capable of defining functional and non-functional requirements related to product features
• Working experience of building complex enterprise applications
• Good coding skills in C# and JavaScript
• Working knowledge of HTML5
• Good working knowledge of Windows development platform - Active Directory, IIS, Security
