Job Specifications and Duties
  • Write Emergency Operating Procedures and/or Severe Accident Management Guidelines
  • Address changes, updates or development of Emergency Operating Procedures and/or Severe Accident Management Guidelines and associated guidance based on plant design and operation changes or new methodologies.
  • Ensure that prepared documentation is clear and concise
  • Participate to integrated project teams and communicate to all involved parties
  • Occasionally travel to customer sites to present technical materials and justification of products and services.


Job Requirements

The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:
  • MS degree in Engineering (Nuclear, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical or Process Engineering)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as procedure writer and/or as reactor operator is required, typically 10 plus years is preferred.
  • A strong knowledge about Pressurized Water Reactors (PWR) and/or VVER reactors is required
  • Understanding Nuclear Power Plants design and related systems is required
  • Understanding the evolution of the plant thermal hydraulic response to an identified accident scenario is a must
  • Fluent in English with proven reporting skills
  • Strong technical interest, predisposition for multi-tasking, flexibility, understanding of project priorities and sense of urgency would be appreciated
  • Strengths should also include problem solving, multi-discipline teamwork and communications, results orientation
