We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer.In this position, a Mechanical Engineer can expect to be responsible for the following:

- Design mechanical products in accordance with the ASME Code.
- Interface with drafters to produce drawings suitable for fabrication and installation.
- Writing of technical documents such as specifications and design reports.
- Management of small to medium scale tasks.
- Interface with the Project Manager providing technical and schedule/cost feedback on a given project(s).
- Identify developmental needs to maintain critical skills required for effective execution of assigned tasks.
- Documents designs using appropriate format to company and/or customer standards.
- Provide assistance to other functional and support organizations and patriciate in plant outage and/or AP1000 construction related activates including short term site assignments.
- Support and/or conduct fabrication follow activates including but not limited to resolution of non-conformance reports, vendor oversight and quality releases.
- Maintain technical competency and work to expand technical skills and knowledge

Job Requirements
The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:

- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or related discipline is required; MS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline is desirable.
- 0-4 years' experience in mechanical design related filed.
- Must have strong mechanical design skills with an ability to read and layout mechanical drawings
- Must be familiar with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing per ASME
- Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor and/or other 3D design tools.
- A general understanding of Finite Element Analysis techniques is desirable.
- Project management experience is a plus.
