We currently have an exciting opportunity for a NPO Quality Manager in our Plant Operations business line. 
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of NPO quality assurance program, ensuring compliance with regulations, standards, and customer quality assurance requirements.  Personnel management responsibility for a team of 20 to 30 inspectors and engineers, ensuring high skill level, personnel development, and succession planning.

In this position, a NPO Quality Manager can expect to be responsible for the following:
  • Manage development and implementation of Business Unit quality policies in compliance with customer requirements, codes, and standards.
  • Recommend, resolve, and implement solutions to quality problems
  • Ensure quality issues and changes are communicated and implemented throughout NPO
  • Interface with industry organizations and influence appropriate industry quality changes
  • Implement quality assurance best practices through continuous improvement.
  • Manage NPO Level 3 procedures. 
  • Ensure staff is appropriately trained and manage employee performance to achieve department goals and objectives 
  • Interface with and support WEC/OPB Quality
  • Inspection work assignment/support for NPO production (EMA projects, Breaker shop & Machine shop)
  • Setup material inspection requirements for NPO receipt inspection of material/components
  • Facilitate industry, customer, and internal audits of the New Stanton facility
  • Maintain a healthy NSC and HuP environment

Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:
  • Deep and broad knowledge of NDE, Electrical, and Mechanical testing methodology
  • BS technical degree or equivalent plus 10 or more years of progressively more responsible quality assurance experience required.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP (QM, PP, MM an SD modules)
