We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Corrective Action Compliance Specialist in our
WECTEC business line located in Waynesboro, GA.

In this position, a Corrective Action Compliance Specialist can expect to be responsible for the following:
  • Assists members of the Vogtle 3-4 Project team with completing responsibilities under the Corrective Action Program as guided by procedures W2-5.1-101, W2-5.1-102 and the CAPAL system.
  • Develops and assists causal analysis work product to determine underlying reasons for deviation and conditions to be addressed.
  • Collects CAP closure evidence and ensure all documentation is organized, complete, and entered into computerized CAPAL system.
  • Responsible for activities involving CAP closure verification and compliance with applicable procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Understands and adheres to all Westinghouse procedures related to the CAPAL program.
  • Communicate with various Vogtle team members.
  • Conduct research, compile data, and prepare papers/reports for consideration and presentation to Vogtle CAP Program Manager and/or other specified management.

  • Applies technical skills and knowledge to complete assigned work.
  • Must understand work hazards, safety practices and procedures for construction work environment.

Job Requirements
  • Requires a college degree, preferably in engineering or construction or equivalent work experience. Requires experience working in either NRC or DOE nuclear programs and familiarity with the 10 CFR requirements for the Corrective Action Program at nuclear sites.
  • Previous experience with Nuclear Problem Identification and Resolution programs/processes
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
  • Must be a safety conscious employee.
  • Compliance oriented.
  • Previous work experience in an Engineering and/or Construction environment
  • Typically has 5 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Nuclear QA/QC experience preferable but not required.
  • Previous experience in Root Cause Analysis or Apparent Cause Analysis.
