The Product Expert for Fabric Filter will be responsible for coordinating all engineering and technical support for proposal development, and providing leadership and supervision to engineering teams comprised of multiple disciplines.

Essential Responsibilities

The main responsibilities will be:
  • Developing and managing plans, and engineering resource/requirements needed to support Business Sales in preparation of proposals.
  • Acting as a technical representative to the Business Sales Managers and/or Proposal Managers.
  • Providing periodic reviews and status updates to management, and develops and maintains a team environment.
  • Coordinating proposal engineering and technical needs with the Business Sales Manager, engineering disciplines, construction, and Sourcing.
  • Providing engineering leadership and direction during pre-contract phase of assigned proposals.
  • Being responsible for engineering deliverables, technical write-ups, and other engineering/technical documentation required for effective proposal preparation. Coordinating and ensuring that engineering documentation, drawings, material specifications, and material quantities are technically responsive to client requirements, consistent with Business Application's order capture strategy, and are consistent with Company policies.
  • Monitoring technical information provided by vendors and subcontractors during the pre-contract phase.
  • Assisting Business Sales Managers with customer presentations requiring technical explanations.
  • Coordinating and conducting necessary technical design reviews and participates in cost reviews.
  • Participating in the development of engineering tools to improve the effectiveness of the technical proposal preparation process.
  • Participating in special technical assignments, such as trouble-shooting competitor designed equipment or technical task teams.
  • Assisting the Project Engineer and Project Manager with transitioning the pre-contract conceptual design into an as-sold design at the beginning of the execution phase.


  • Master Degree in Engineering (Chemical preferred)
  • Strong and proven professional technical experience in fabric filters for Industrial Plants (Iron & Steel, Aluminum, Cement, Pulp & Paper, Waste to Energy) or Wet flue gas desulfurization plant
  • Experience in process engineering of above mentioned product
  • Willing to relocate
  • Fluent in Italian and English
