The Gas Power Systems (GPS) IT Project Manager will play a significant role leading global initiatives & platforms as part of the Project Execution IT team. This is a challenging but highly rewarding role with visibility to senior leadership. Customer partners include:
Field Engineers: at customer sites installing & commissioning equipment
Logistics: at HQ locations coordinating shipment & schedules
Project Managers: at HQ locations coordinating the construction of power plants

Essential Responsibilities

Manager will:

  • "Times New Roman"">Introduce new digital tools and technologies supporting
    GPS with strong focus on business outcomes.

  • "Times New Roman"">Interface directly with functional leadership & key
    stakeholders, working as a business partner to evaluate, simplify, and
    improve business processes.

  • "Times New Roman"">Responsible for work that is less defined in scope
    which requires driving business process understanding, being resourceful,
    and leveraging experience to execute business objectives.

  • "Times New Roman"">Manage scope, resources, time and risk in delivering
    key digital solutions.

  • "Times New Roman"">Source and lead contractual staff.

  • "Times New Roman"">Represent GPS on GE Power and Corporate Digital,
    Mobile & Emerging Technologies councils.

  • "Times New Roman"">Partner with GE Digital and GE Power to drive Digital
    Thread initiatives.

  • "Times New Roman"">Focus on initiatives and programs which promote and
    improve employee experience and a contemporary workplace.


  • "Times New Roman"">Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information
    Technology or Computer Science

  • "Times New Roman"">Minimum of 3 years IT Project Leadership experience
