The Power IT - Commercial & Supply Chain team looking to hire an Lead Finance IT Analyst. The Lead Finance IT Analyst will be responsible tactically for streamlining and managing financial analysis, tracking, reporting and program reviews and will be responsible strategically for managing the Commercial & Supply Chain IT financial portfolio

Essential Responsibilities

As the Lead Finance IT Analyst, you will:
  • Manage and own all financial tracking and reporting for Commercial Supply Chain IT team
  • Be responsible for tracking operating plan, actual spend, commitments, and projections for all financial accounts pertaining to Commercial Supply Chain IT team
  • Be able to report an accurate financial projection and commitment plan by expense and investment on a weekly basis
  • Work with relevant finance and IT stakeholders to understand charges hitting MEs and close MEs as part of simplification effort
  • Coordinate with the Commercial Supply Chain IT program managers to ensure financial commitments are accurate, and that any upcoming commitments or spend is being properly planned
  • Lead reviews directly with Commercial & Supply Chain IT staff on current financials, trends and pacing
  • Work with FP&A, Controllership and extended IT team to ensure financial tracking best practices are being followed
  • Own quarterly process for Closing the Books across Commercial Supply Chain IT Management Entities - accruals, liquidations, re-classifications and capitalizations
  • Own and drive usage of IT Finance portal and Tableau reports
  • Build financial pacing reports to be run weekly & deploy for entire organization
  • Provide bi-weekly financial risk reports documenting any commitments or spend over the operating plan or areas of concern on ability to track spending
  • Strategically manage Commercial Supply Chain IT financial portfolio
  • Own process for creating & tracking POs
  • Work with Investment Council leads to streamline and create central tracking process for programs & keep current portfolio financials updated tied with actuals from the General Ledger


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting or other IT or finance related focus of study from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in IT Program Management or Financial Program Management

  • Ensure proper mitigation is in place to avoid turning into an issue and tracking progress against the mitigation
  • Proficient uses of Microsoft Office Tools and Tableau reporting
  • Ability to collect and analyze data to determine root cause of the issue
  • Established project management and organizational abilities
  • Strong interpersonal, communications, and leadership skills
  • Proven analytical and problem resolution skills
  • Collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
  • Strong problem solving skills, clear and succinct communications, and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve
  • Demonstrated customer focus
