Position Description
Controllers are seeking a Senior Tax Accounting Consultant to join the Organization which rolls up under the Finance, Strategy & Development (FSD) business line within Saudi Aramco.

The senior tax accounting role acts as one of Saudi Aramco's primary representatives for financial and income tax reporting to Management and the Saudi Arabian Government. Helping to produce the Company's consolidated financial statements, subsidiaries' financial statements and other management reports. FAD maintains, controls, and reconciles the Company's General Ledger, Fixed Asset records and supporting documents. Additionally, the role includes monitoring payments and calculating withholding taxes related to non-resident vendors. The senior tax accounting role will also provide accounting and advisory services related to Saudi Aramco's interests and will be involved in a variety of activities including, but not limited to:

Tax advisory services
IFRS Accounting studies to support strategic initiatives and thought leadership;
Governance review and guidance;
Tax optimization and consulting
Business integration support for subsidiaries, joint ventures, mergers & acquisitions, government projects.

The applicant will possess significant relevant experience within a variety of industries but significant experience within the energy industry is preferable. The successful candidate will have the ability to establish personal credibility with various internal and external clients and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills. The applicant must be a team player, be able to plan and coordinate their own workload and meet deadlines. The applicant will be able to add value by delivering work of the highest quality and be able to proactively overcome issues to ensure delivery.

Minimum Requirements
As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a graduate degree in Taxation as well as any relevant advance professional competencies evidenced by professional certification such as a CPA, CA or ACCA. Accounting focused professional licenses and/or other forms of continuing professional education is required.

Additionally, the applicant should have a minimum of 15 years of experience of international corporate income tax experience including application of corporate income tax regulations, identifying tax saving opportunities, familiarity with tax treaties, understanding of transfer pricing and withholding taxes. The applicant must be able to work with minimal supervision, possess good project management skills and be able to offer logical and innovative solutions to complex client issues.

Familiarity with accounting policies and procedures established pursuant to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is required as well as a strong understanding of the content of financial statements prepared within the IFRS framework. Proficiency in oral and written English is required.

Review and recommend transfer pricing policies
Provide corporate income tax advice to global organization
Minimize withholding taxes
