Wind Services Project Manager is responsible for services projects executions in driving the on-time delivery of contractual commitments to meet customers' requirements and fulfillment of services financial OP including Revenue, cash, and profitability.. setting strategic directions to drive margin and bottom-line growth. The services projects include but not limited to multiple GE streams (CM&U / Parts / Services, Catalog Conversions Modifications & Upgrades).

Essential Responsibilities

The Services Project Manager leads projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business or is a recognized expert in a specialized field. In this role you will be responsible for major and complex assignments with long-term business implications, manage complex issues within area of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy. Take lead of project team including projects planning, services engineering, logistic, sourcing, supply chain , and site operation to execute the projects in according with the contract to assure the customer satisfactions.
• Primary customer contact. Resolve specification and commercial issues, manage correspondence, provide periodic updates, ensure customer satisfaction, and negotiate/ coordinate with staff as appropriate.
• Responsible for the financial performance of a portfolio of projects including not limited to cash collection, revenue recognition, and project probabilities.
• Responsible for on-time delivery in accordance with contract
• Responsible for day to day operations of the projects including internal project review, customer's meeting and communication, project data visibility and work with cross functions to address the project issues and provide solutions.
• Responsible for driving the project quality and process compliance
• Responsible for project risk issues including receivables, claims, contract changes, margin enhancement, and effective project closeout.
• Lead project team, including partners, through contract reviews to identify & manage risks, monitor financial and operational performance against the agreed timescales, and initiates corrective action where appropriate.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent from an
accredited university or college.
• At least 5 additional years of experience in project management.
• At least 3 years of experience in a management role.
Willingness and ability to travel 40% of the time

Desired Characteristics

Master's degree in Business Administration or Engineering is preferred.
• Significant Project, Construction, Field Engineering and/or Contract Management experience in power industry.
• Winds services experience or and wind projects background is preferred.
• High energy level - self-starter.
• Technical knowledge of product lines and associated systems.
• Microsoft suite proficiency.
• Six Sigma training (GE employees only).
• Sense of urgency in dealing with issues and tasks.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a matrix team / organization.
• Ability to anticipate events and develop adaptive strategies / remedies.
• Strong skills in customer relationship building, facilitation, and matrix management
