As a member of the Manufacturing Engineering Team, this role will supervise the Maintenance department and drive process improvements as a process engineer.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Maintenance Manager, you support a team of Millwrights and Electricians; coordinate, prioritize and schedule their work to address safety, quality and operational requirements to maintain the reliability and function of equipment and facility systems.

As a Process Engineer you are responsible for overall efficient and safe operation of production equipment while maintaining the highest standards of quality output.

Work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to juggle many priorities.

Respond to production, quality and EHS concerns, leading the cross-functional team through effective problem solving, troubleshooting and decision making.

Lead training and qualification of Maintenance and Process Operators, developing and according to a training program.

Develop, maintain and/or improve documentation used for production and maintenance activities.

Identify and execute process improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality and safety through innovative solutions.

Work within a team of Process Engineers, Maintenance and Operator groups to ensure business objectives are met.

Plan and develop maintenance requirements for equipment, including facility systems such as HVAC, compressed air, etc.


P Eng. -Mechanical, Manufacturing or Process Engineering.

5 to 10 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Self-motivated, enthusiastic team player with proven clear and succinct written and verbal communication skills

Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge and demonstrated application of Statistical Process Control tools and principles

Comfortable with common MS Office software applications

Desired Characteristics

Experience supervising maintenance employees (industrial millwrights and industrial electricians)

Knowledge and demonstrated application of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles

Experience with Asset Management software systems

Experience and demonstrated application of using AutoCAD, Inventor or similar design software to design, source and
