The IT Renewables - Digital - Master data architect will lead the Master Data strategy and roadmap for the Renewables business in line with Digital thread strategy and roadmap. You will be the single point of contact for Master Data for Renewable Energy, and will influence the IT roadmap and support other IT organizations. In this role, you will have a specific focus on BOM (Bill of Materials) Management cycle across the organization.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall Master Data strategy in collaboration with Enterprise Architect, CTO (Critical to Quality) and other Renewables CIO
  • Define and deploy through the organization the Master Data roadmap in close relationship with the CTO
  • Educate the IT Renewables community on Master Data repository and reuse of existing in close relationship with Enterprise Architect
  • Keep up to date repository (i.e. PLANET / GE STORE, etc.) in and out GE IT Renewables
  • Assess through appropriate metrics and communicate the achievement and impact of the Master Data roadmap
  • Maintain and apply current knowledge of information technology
  • Keep abreast of new and emerging technologies and help determine how they can be used to add value to the business


    Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related technical discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT roles

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading the implementation and support of large scale Enterprise Master Data Initiative
  • TOGAF certification
  • Engineering background
  • Proven cross functional leadership and working in matrixed organization
  • Renewable Energy experience and knowledge
  • Strong organization, planning, and global leadership skills
