As the Channel Operations Analyst, you will identify 3rd parties needs and assist in developing solutions. This may include helping to identify up-sell opportunities within the Channel Partner network.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Channel Operations Analyst, you will:
  • Facilitate effective, cross-functional working sessions with Regions, COEs and other GE stakeholders.
  • Channel Partner process development and integration
  • Operate Channel Partner Programs (i.e. Forecasting, Scorecards & Rebate Program)
  • Gather channel partner data & performance analytics
  • Develop and drive simplification projects for service 3rd parties
  • Connect with global regions for alignment on process improvements providing global consistency
  • Lead the implementation of NPI (New Product Introduction) Programs to channel operation
  • Troubleshoot and support channel partner issue resolution


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or related discipline (OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years in data analysis OR distributor network program development)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a reciprocating engine, Oil & Gas, gas compression or Energy Industry
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Oracle or similar ERP( Enterprise Resource) system
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of time, as required

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Desired Characteristics

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer facing role
  • Technical expertise or business related product expertise
  • Experience within project management and program execution (Green belt / Black belt or equivalent quality certification)
  • Service Experience with Oil & Gas Customers and/or distributor (channel) management
  • Experience with Business process improvement including design, development and implementation
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving abilities
  • Good communicator and facilitator
  • Experience with Microsoft applications (Excel, Power point)
  • Demonstrated success in working in a multicultural and matrix environment with a diverse group of people
