The Senior New Value Creation Strategist - Renewable Energy Digital will partner with Business Development, Onshore, Offshore, Hydro and Services organizations to create strategies to grow our scope in the Renewable Energy Digital space.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Senior New Value Creation Strategist - Renewable Energy Digital you will:
  • Assess gaps in business capabilities as we look to differentiate and grow our businesses, and identify potential targets / partners and help structure build / buy / align strategies
  • Lead organic growth initiatives
  • Use clear analytics and financial modeling to quantify the potential impact of pursuing new segments / adjacencies, expanded offerings, etc.
  • Translate insights into clear business recommendations
  • Drive understanding of how wind operates in global power markets and to identify opportunities to shape / influence policies, regulations, market structure or utility; PUC decisions for value creation in the Renewable Energy space
  • Drive the BD (Business Development) / Energy Ventures forum to identify potential investment opportunities for long-term growth
  • Elicit inputs from internal (i.e. Business Development, Digital, Services, Marketing and Strategy) and external sources (i.e. industry analysts, press clippings, trade journals)
  • Create value propositions and financial models to support new value creation and inorganic growth strategies
  • Work with BD to build the business case and key assumptions for potential acquisition targets
  • Development of next-best-alternative analysis for global Renewable Energy markets


    Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Public Policy or related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, business development or related professional field
    Eligibility Requirements
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%

  • Power or Renewable Energy market or trading experience
  • Master's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Ability to build and utilize financial or economic models to deliver insights
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Clear communicator with the ability to translate insights into clear strategic recommendations and outcomes
  • Proficiency with Excel and overall data analysis / synthesis
  • Self-motivator with the ability to identify and; drive new opportunities without regular oversight
  • Leader and problem-solver with the ability to identify trends and opportunities, lead cross-functional teams, drive outcomes and solve business challenges
  • Experience and knowledge of renewable energy products and industry landscape
  • Strong process and program management skills
