The Senior Demand Strategist - OnShore Wind M/F will partner with Commercial and Sales, Product Management, and Digital organizations to create strategies to grow demand for onshore wind.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Senior Demand Strategist - OnShore Wind M/F, you will:
• Lead demand generation initiatives for Onshore Wind
• Use clear analytics, permitting data, and financial modeling to increase pipeline for GE Onshore wind through targeting, developing differentiated customer experience, and enabling our sales team
• Develop customer strategy deep-dives to enable GE Onshore wind "share-of-wallet" capture for key customers
• Work to implement those strategies with Key Account Leaders
• Quantify the potential impact of entering new markets with regional marketing leaders, pursuing different customers, expanded offerings, etc.; translate insights into clear business recommendations
• Own GE country-entry strategy cross-functionally
• Develop deep understanding of policy drivers for wind and maintain policy roll-up for global business
• Assess and build strategies to address gaps in business capabilities as we look to differentiate and grow our businesses globally
• Elicit inputs from internal (Commercial, Regional Marketing leaders, Product Line) and external sources (industry analysts, press clippings, trade journals) to create a comprehensive competitive demand strategy for OnShore Wind


• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics and/or Public Policy or related discipline from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience / knowledge
• Strong experience in marketing, business development or related discipline


Additional Eligibility Qualifications

• Power market or power trading experience
• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience or knowledge
• Ability to build & utilize financial or economic models to deliver insights
• Strong analytical & critical thinking skills; clear communicator with ability to translate insights into clear strategic recommendations and outcomes
• Proficiency with Excel & overall data analysis / synthesis
• Self-motivator with ability to identify & drive new opportunities without regular oversight
• Leader & problem-solver with ability to identify trends & opportunities, lead cross-functional teams, drive outcomes & solve business challenges
• Experience and knowledge of renewable energy products and industry landscape
• Strong process and program management skills
• Clear thinker
