The strategic Sourcing leader for Renewable Energy will be in charge of the working capital and the supplier rationalization across the ~$9B Renewable Energy Tier 1 business. In this role you will work closely with the overall Renewable Energy organization and other parts of GE (Power, GRC, etc.), connecting as well with the industry. You will also drive major operational & cultural change in the Global Supply Chain organization

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop and provide a risk assessment tool
  • Challenge working capital terms (TPS Penetration and lead time reduction)
  • Drive PO cycle time tracking to assist in Working capital reductions
  • Identify & follow conflict mineral reporting
  • Drive Fx and commodity trend reporting to identify regional/currency sourcing strategies
  • Liaison with GE treasury for Tier 1 business.
  • Implement and propose a Supplier rationalization program especially for Hydro
  • Identify sole source tracking and risk mitigation
  • Partner and connect with other GE businesses to identify further opportunities


  • Bachelor's degree in Sourcing
  • Strong Supply Chain experience
  • Strong knowledge on Sourcing
  • Sourcing/operational background
  • Project management expertise
  • Work in a global environment effectively and travel as required
