The strategic Sourcing leader for Renewable Energy will be in charge of Analytics and Best cost country sourcing strategy across the ~$9B Renewable Energy Tier 1 business. In this role you will work closely with the overall Renewable Energy organization and other parts of GE (Power, GRC, etc.), connecting as well with the industry. You will also drive major operational & cultural change in the Global Supply Chain organization

Essential Responsibilities

  • Identify Best cost country sourcing strategy opportunities and drive - manage gcl strategy toward lowest landed cost
  • Organize external benchmarks
  • B2P compliance champion for the business
  • Support Digital Thread
  • Supplier collaboration tools (Clear Orbit roadmap)
  • SDX/PLM Business champion (digital supplier communication tool - product lifecycle management)
  • GE Store connection on analytics
  • Interface with GE Sourcing Analytics
  • Digital Based Modeling
  • Business champion for Renewable Analytics
  • Support Legacy Alstom ECO platform sourcing


  • Bachelor's degree in Sourcing
  • Very strong Supply Chain experience
  • Strong background in ITTools - -strong IT affinity
  • Strong knowledge on Sourcing and IT - which field of IT? (database management, supplier communication tool, finance analytic, )
  • Sourcing/operational background
  • Excellent communication & influencing skill at multiple levels of the organization
  • Project management expertise
  • Ability and ownership to drive improvements and change with tangible results
  • Work in a global environment effectively and travel as required
  • Fluent English knowledge
