The position is a part of GE Power Gas Power Systems (GPS) team, and a member of Project Titan Integration Team. This role is responsible for managing the integration of 3 newly acquired and to be acquired manufacturing sites into GE. The sites are located in Vietnam and Korea. The position reports into GPS EHS Leader and dotted line to the HRSG operations Executive

Essential Responsibilities

The EHS Manager is responsible for leading the EHS integration of the sites into GE's EHS program. The successful candidate will lead functionally, the EHS teams of the sites. He/she is expected to develop strong working relationship with and advise on EHS issues to the site and business leadership teams.

During the initial phases of the integration, the EHS Manager is to manage the transition of 2 manufacturing sites from old facilities into new facilities using EHS MOC and PSSR programs; and represent GE in the review of EHS improvement works for 1 manufacturing site before handover to GE. After the transition period, the EHS Manager will work together with the Regional EHS Team and GPS EHS Team to execute a phased implementation of GE's EHS programs into the sites.

The successful candidate is expected to draw together a larger team of leaders and professionals to implement the EHS programs and develop the EHS culture of the organization.


• Technical or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent 7 years of relevant experience
• Minimum 7 years relevant work experience in EHS
• Ability to communicate effectively in Vietnamese and English
• Ability to work independently

Desired Characteristics

• Project management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Experience in various EHS technical subjects -lifting safety, machine guarding, hot works, air pollution control systems, waste water management systems, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; solid interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to interact across functions and organizations
• Ability to communicate in Korean would be an advantage
