Sub-Regional Product Strategy Leader partner with c/f teams like Sales, Commercial, Finance, Engineering, Projects & Services, Sourcing & Global Growth & Operations & own the regional product/services strategy through its lifecycle. Product Strategy Leader will be responsible & accountable for setting the targets (price, performance, timing, volume) & drive commercial intensity to determine regional product/services/F&A fit, grow share profitably, identify new markets & ensure product compliance

Essential Responsibilities

- Drive GPB & Ongoing Strategic Reviews
- Set Price, Cost, Performance, Timing targets for Regional solutions
- Support RL on collaboration w/ GGO to ensure complete alignment on strategies
- Drive Commercial Intensity to determine Regional Product/Services fit & F&As
- Supports Region deal teams in defining needs for non-standard solutions/biz models
- Determine & ensure execution on localization plans
- Collaborate with sales to gain continual customer feedback
- Owns regional solutions through its Life cycle (product launch, ITO, OTR & Services)
- Determine the continual product & services pivots through the lifecycle
- Optimize Landed costs & competitiveness for region specific solutions
- Own LCOE charts & Update regularly
- Clear communication from larger teams/external world to Global PLL and visa versa
- Identify new markets & strategy
- Determine business models for different regions
- Promote solutions in new markets... Identify & Support Mega Deals
- Identify M&A plays to develop in the new markets
- Owns product compliance and certification efforts for regional products.
- Certificate expertise to drive efficient market entry & win new deals
- Identify, Fulfill & Track critical Certification requirements
- Proactively educate the PLL team on regional permits & certificate requirements


- Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline and / or advanced business degree with applicable industry experience.
- Practical understanding of current/new wind turbine technologies of GE and the competitive landscape
- Proven track record (minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience) in in the wind/ power industry
- Strong communication skills and confidence with executive level presentations.
- Strong business analysis, problem solving, strategy development skills
- Excellent communication skills both in Japanese and English
- Proven experience in face to face customer meetings
- Strong interpersonal, team building skills and customer focus; ability to work with colleagues and customers at all levels of the organizations.
- Flexible travel schedule.

Desired Characteristics

- Strong "Customer Service" mindset.
- Experience in a Commercial or Strategic Marketing or System Level Engineering
- Korean would be an added advantage
