Reporting to the Non-Gas Sales Director, the Product Sales Leader is responsible for developing the strategy and driving growth for the Boiler Product line. You will work closely with the PS China Region Boiler Product Line team to ensure the Product Line team understands the customer and market environment at a specific regional level so as to develop product strategies that translate into sales by best supporting customer objectives.

Essential Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of customer base, business strategies, and customer CTQs
• Define and deliver the strategy for selling Steam Services
• Support specialized sales team based in the regions to identify & define opportunities and drive sales
• Pro-actively promote GE's Service competence to OEM customers, and therefore identify business opportunities.
• Provide commercial and technical expertise and assistance in selling in this specific technical field... lead key deals to support the team as necessary with technical depth and commercial expertise
• Be accountable for Steam Service Segment including orders, commitments, cash, penetration, pricing / profitability, risk and customer satisfaction
• Work effectively in a team environment with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Sales and OTR to insure the most efficient use of all resources
• Drive best solutions for both customer and GE where both product and services sales are being delivered
• Support the maintenance of accurate and current project and opportunity information in


• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Marketing or Business from an accredited university or college
• Minimum 7 years of experience in industry-related engineering, sales, commercial operations or marketing including minimum 5 years in a customer-facing role

• Broad and deep understanding of the commercial cycle - including product line/marketing/sales/commercial operations/engineering

• Ability and willingness to travel as required (up to 50%)
